The Sandlot

Rin is having a blast playing in the sand. This picture is actually only a few hours after the cone picture, but Rin's gotten a bad case of heat rash from sweating too much and he has to shower and change clothes twice a day now as well as use a special cream. He's been a mite grumpy, but otherwise a real trooper!

Conehead Redux

Rin just loves these traffic cones. Every time we pass them he has to give one a push. He's very into tipping things over these days.

Here's Rin at Furatto in his new Robot suit from Obaachan. In the bottom picture he's wearing the Anpanman hat that all the kids put on to do the Anpanman dance.

He's a Dancin' Fool

Rin starts to bounce up and down as soon as he hears the Anpanman song. He bobs and swings his arms from side to side and claps, It's the cutest thing you've ever seen. Here are a few snapshots. The last one is of a "big kid" who was trying to protect Rin from getting to close to the TV. He kept trying to herd Rin away, but Rin wasn't having any of it.

Plaid Man Goes to the Park

We went to Sanda-tani park again today and Rin had fun on the swings and played with the faucet again.

This morning we had a nice surprise; a package of clothes arrived for Rin from his obaachan and we suited him up right away. He looks like such a little man!

Floggy Went to the Dentist

I had to go to the dentist this Tuesday to get my new two front teeth (and it's not even Christmas), and Rin came along. He was a perfect angel waiting quietly in the lobby with his Daddy. Here are a few shots.

At Marine Pia

After we went to the car shop we had dinner at Marine Pia and enjoyed watching the sunset over the Akashi Bridge. It was truly lovely and we caught a little bit of a fireworks display on Awaji Island as well.

At the Honda Shop

We've been having some trouble with the automatic locks on the car, so we took it to the Honda shop in Akashi to see if they could fix it. Rin had a good time playing with the plastic Rody.
