Bad Skeeters

Rin got one heck of a skeeter-bite on his head. The black and white Japanese mosquitos (called Yabu-ga) are absolutely brutal.

Back to the Park

We haven't been able to go out to the park for quite a while because of my fever 2 weeks ago and then the typhoon this past week, so Rin was totally pysched to get out again and play in the sandbox and on the slide.

Tanked

Spider, man!

Rin found a spider on the playscape and he was a little freaked out by it. He loves his pet beetles (a total of 5 now), but he's a little scared of spiders and terrified of cicadas.

Hat Man

Rin used to hate wearing hats, but he loves this one and he even requests it sometimes.

Rin the Adventurer

Here is Rin on top of the fire cistern. He loved climbing onto it and jumping off again. In fact climbing onto things and then jumping off of them is his absolute favorite thing to do lately.

Ka-ching, Ka-ching

Rin loves the sound these posts makes when you shake them and he shakes each and every one when we go by them.

Rin's getting better and better at smiling for the camera.

It's Shorts Weather Again, Yeah!

Here is Rin in his Day-glo orange overall shorts. I was afraid they wouldn't fit him again this summer, but they're just a bit shorter. He's gotten quite a bit taller, but his waist size hasn't changed much.

Here is Rin at the park with some lovely flowers, I've finally gotten him to stand still and look at the camera, so there sohould be a lot of great smiling shots in the future!

We also went to Furatto today with Nishida and Gerilyn and Ate Puring and Rin had fun doing the Anpanman Taiso.
