Here's Rin splashing the water out of Rosie's drinking bowl. Just look at that smile; he knows he is being a naughty boy and loving it.

Get Over Here

Here is Rin - VERY overtired - harassing poor Rosie, again. This pic is a little blurry, but he was literally bouncing off the furniture. He is like a little drunkard when he gets overtired and it's hilarious (although sometimes frustrating) to watch him. He calms right down with a jog around the park with Mommy, though, and is usually asleep by the third time round the track.

What's the Scoop?

Here is a bunch of pics from Rin's latest jaunt to the park. Some of his friends were there too, and he borrowed some sand toys. He especially loved this one scoop with beads in the handle and he carried it around with him the whole time we were at the park.

Best Buds

Here are Rin and Rosie, hanging out in the hall. Recently Rin likes to back himself up to Rosie and lay back on her like a chair. It's awfully cute, but I haven't been able to catch it on the camera yet. I'll keep trying!

Wii Baby

Rin sees me getting on the Wii Fit every morning to check my weight, so now he likes to get on it and point the Wiimote at the screen and pretend he's playing. They learn so fast!

Rin and Ai-chan

This is Rin with Ai-chan at Furatto. Something about her must have caught Rin's fancy, because he went over to her slowly, sat down, took her hand and gave her the toy he was playing with. I almost melted it was so charming. He stayed and sat with her for quite a while before being overwhelmed by the lure of the ball-pool.

Bell Boy

One of Rin's favorite things to do recently is ring doorbells. He rings the bell at Nishida's house and whenever we go out he rings the bell at our house too!

...exactly like that, in fact. Here is Rin going wild at the ¥100 shop inside the local Daiei.

Neko-jarashi

Here is Rin holding a stem of Neko-jarashi (also known as green foxtail). I picked it outside our neighbor, Mr. Kozu's house and Rin had a lot of fun playing with it. (Fun fact: Neko-jarashi means "cat-teaser", as this grass is the perfect shape to use as a cat-toy)
