Here are two pics from our year-end get-together at Mayuki's house. All the baby salon moms and kids gathered to eat and play. Lucky Mayuki has a slide in his living room.

Rin can now climb up the ladder and slide down the slide all by himself. (With Mommy or Daddy right behind, of course).

He also LOVES to go on the swings with Mommy.

They have a really great playground at Chelsea Outlets and Rin had a blast playing on all the fun toys!

Happy 4th of July

Here we are at the park and Rin is all dressed up for the 4th of July! I wish we could have had fireworks and a BBQ, but we had to settle for watching a baseball game at the local park.

A Family Affair

Here we are at the park with Mr. Nishida. His wife is finally going to be able to come to Japan in a few weeks. (She had to wait a long time for her visa, and then she got bad morning sickness, but she's alright now) Yeah!

Making Mochi

The other day we stopped by Furatto on the way back from going to check out the sports club (unfortunately they'll be closing in 2 months, so we decided not to join). It just so happened that they were making mochi and all the little ones got to try their hands at pounding the sticky rice. Here is Rin wielding the big mochi mallet.

Back at Fukada Park

I got a new DSi as an enticement to switch internet companies and Rin loves it. Here he is watching me play the new Legend of Zelda game.

Mao and Rise

Here we are with my student Mao and her little sister Rise. Rin always plays with Rise and her mom while Mao has her lessons. He loves them both.
