Furatto!!!

Here is Rin at the park with some lovely flowers, I've finally gotten him to stand still and look at the camera, so there sohould be a lot of great smiling shots in the future!

We also went to Furatto today with Nishida and Gerilyn and Ate Puring and Rin had fun doing the Anpanman Taiso.

Sleeping Like a Baby

Here is Rin with just the top of his head and his little hand poking out. I think he must have been drowsy from his cold medicine, 'cause he took a 4 hour nap, when he usually only sleeps for 2 hours. He's being held by his babysitter Mrs. Fujiwara.

With Masako

This past weekend we went to visit Masako, as her daughter and my one-time student, Airi is going away to New Zealand for the next six months! Good luck Airi!

We visited the Nishidas last week and Rin had an absolute blast with Nishida-san palying on the computer. He kept reducing and enlarging a picture of himself on the computer, laughing like a maniac the whole time. It was hi-larious!

With Nurse Ibaragi

We went to the hospital on the 30th to visit the Nishida's new baby and we also chatted with the nurses and midwives who were there for Rin's birth. This is Nurse Ibaragi was a great support to me and a very funny lady. Unfortunately Rin looks less then thrilled to be held.

Party at Mayuki's House

Here are two pics from our year-end get-together at Mayuki's house. All the baby salon moms and kids gathered to eat and play. Lucky Mayuki has a slide in his living room.

These are from Stephanie's Christmas Eve party. Rin is hanging out with Stephanie's daughter Hilary's son, Charlie. They are playing with some kind of iphone game together. Well ,Charlie (3) is playing and Rin is watching in awe.

Rin Loves Mr. Yoshida

Every Thursday we go to the udon shop on Rte. 176 for lunch, and Rin is the darling of all the staff, especially Mr. Yoshida. He has a grandson just about Rin's age, and he always makes a big fuss over Rin whenever we see him. He's such a sweet guy so I took their picture together the last time we went.

A Busy Day at the Park

For some reason there were way more kids at the park than usual today, including Rin's friends Kouichi, Tacchan, Akari, Koharu, and Koutarou.

Rin had fun playing in the sand and getting dusty.
