お正月:O-shougatsu

We had a lovely New Year's Eve and New Year's Day in Nagata with Sho-chan's family. We went to the shrine and we all picked our fortunes. It looks like this is going to be a great year for the Kanou family because all three of us got 大吉 (Dai-kichi or Great Luck)!


This was one of the candidates for our New Year's card. I liked the confused look Rin had here, but we eventually went with the smiley design you all got. (Anyone who didn't get a nengajou and wants one ー send me your address in an e-mail and I'll mail you one!)

    Ojii-chan has great good luck already because he gets to hold Rin!
    The "confused" ('hmmm, what will this year bring?') design is cute, but I'm glad you went with the happy tiger for the cards.
